Magnetic to Electronic Conversion Guide

Time Has Run Out for Magnetic Ballasts.
Switch to Keystone’s Electronic Ballasts today!
On July 1, 2010, the Department of Energy began enforcing regulations which prohibit the manufacture and sale of most T12 magnetic fluorescent ballasts sold through electrical distribution. Keystone Technologies is leading the way in helping customers switch from magnetic T12 ballasts to our new family of electronic T12 ballasts (E>12 ballasts). The chart below lists the electronic equivalents to our magentic ballasts, making the conversion as easy as possible.
Our E>12 ballasts offer several key benefits:
- • Comparably priced to our magnetic ballasts
- • Wider range of lamps operated
- • Lower starting temperature
- • Same mounting footprint
- • Long lead lengths
- • Lighter and easier to ship and handle
- • Identical wiring schematic (except where noted)
- • Multi-voltage option available on select models
